The Bessemer Hall of History Museum will be hosting their
Annual Christmas Open House 
on Sunday, December 4, 2016  from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Come and see some of Bessemer’s history on display and learn about the past while getting in the Christmas spirit with displays of Christmas decorations from years gone by. See an old-fashioned Christmas setting complete with ornaments, decorations, trees, and even toys from the past.
Bring the kids to this family-friendly event and let them see and experience what Christmas was like in decades gone by. You will surely enjoy this marvelous holiday experience and you will walk away with the Christmas Spirit.

Bobby Cooper’s annual BHS street dance will be held on Friday August 19, 2016 from 7:30 P.M. till 11:00 P.M. at the Bessemer Hall of History on Alabama Avenue and 19th street. The class of 1966 is celebrating its 50th class reunion that weekend and we are anticipating seeing a lot of those classmates at the street dance. Let’s all join them and help them enjoy a great weekend. Just bring a comfortable lawn chair and your cooler and sit back and enjoy the music and dancing. Hope to see you.

The Bessemer Hall of History Museum is saddened to announce the death of John E. Vines. He was Past President of the Museum and Chairman of the Museum’s Fire Truck Committee, and longtime friend of the Museum.
